Participation in HR Children Project

Unique Event for Future HR Professionals

On March 24, Colorisoft participated in the unique “HR Children” event. This is a 4-day program aimed at helping schoolchildren find their calling and try themselves in the role of an HR professional.

Each day of this project is dedicated to a separate topic and takes place in a light, practical-game format.

Business Simulation by Colorisoft

Our founder Stanislav Zagursky represented Colorisoft and created a business simulation together with the students.

How the Game Worked:

Team Structure:

• Students split into two teams of one company
• Stanislav acted as CEO
• Each team was led by a young HRD
• Each HRD supervised HR department employees

Simulation Tasks:

1. Budget Request Preparation

   • Students learned how to properly request budget allocation for employee training from management

2. Training Needs Analysis

   • Creating a justification report on which employees need training
   • Through internal research and discussions, teams concluded that 18% of finance department employees need English language training

3. Tender and Economic Justification

   • Conducting a tender to select a language school
   • Calculations showed that distance learning format would be more cost-effective than in-person
   • Students noted that distance format would allow training not just 18% of one department, but the entire workforce of over 5,000 people

Results and Impressions

The students did tremendous work, and we are still impressed by their abilities. Young participants demonstrated:

• Analytical thinking
• Teamwork skills
• Understanding of business processes
• Data-driven decision-making skills
